👥 Our Leadership & Team Excellence
Empowering local mountain experts, setting Nepal’s highest standards for staff welfare, and guiding sustainable Himalayan tourism across four decades.
Pioneering Leadership
Led by Managing Director Mr. Ravi Chandra Hamal, who personally reconnoitered remote Himalayan routes across Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and India, and promoted regional tourism across 80+ countries worldwide.
Next-Gen Director Leadership
Directors Miss Dristi Hamal, Mr. Sauhardha Chandra Hamal, and Mr. Samridha Chandra Hamal lead active humanitarian projects, including sending 3 tons of relief materials during the 2015 earthquake and conducting winter clothing, medical, and meal distributions across underprivileged mountain schools.
“Local Leader” Pioneers (Since 1980)
AmaDablam revolutionized Himalayan tourism by introducing the principle “who better to lead in Nepal than the Nepalese.” By hiring and training graduate Nepalese, Tibetans, and Bhutanese as full guides, we created dignified career paths now adopted globally.
Industry-First Staff & Porter Welfare
We were among Nepal’s first operators to institute mandatory accident/health insurance, high-altitude gear (jackets, boots, sleeping bags, tents), cooked meals, emergency helicopter evacuations, and constructing dedicated porter shelters at Lobuche and Island Peak Base Camp.
Inclusive Community Hiring
We recruit team members directly from rural mountain villages via word-of-mouth. By replacing strict entry qualifications with comprehensive on-the-job training, we create equitable economic pathways for underprivileged local families.
