Mt. Everest Expeditions
Overview

Trip Profile: 65 Day Expedition Ex-Ktm. 5 Days in Kathmandu 46-51 Days Climbing 9-10 Days Trek / Drive to & from Base Camp

You can go no higher! A high level of fitness is essential.

Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world at 8848m (29,028ft) and was first climbed by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa on May 29, 1953. Queen Elizabeth II of England acknowledged this triumph of human endeavour as the best gift during her coronation ceremony. On this challenging encounter with the highest mountain on earth, you are sure to find inspiration, adventure and awesome mountain vistas.

South Face Everest Expedition
Our expedition follows the classic trekking approach route through Namche Bazaar and Thyangboche. Everest Base Camp, where all climbers assemble, is situated below the Khumbu Icefall at 5500m (18000ft). The anticipation here amongst the climbers is palpable. Normally the climbing duration of this expedition lasts for around 65 days. There will be danger, adrenalin rushes and immense fatigue – all part of the greatest climb. Success is not guaranteed – the Gods will decide – but anyone who reaches the summit today can still feel proud of their achievement. Everest is the ultimate peak and its rewards are incalculable.
